I got the big dude and it was fantastic. The service was great and he was very helpful with making sure I got everything on the sandwich that I wanted. Nice outside patio when the weather is nice.

Still 5/5 and love they are open Sundays now, because the cravings don't end on Saturday.

Tasty little sandwich spot with a ton of inside and outside seating. Cold cut big guy sandwich was text book. My wife had hot pastrami which was just right. If you are in the area check it out, parking is tight because students use the free parking that is for the sandwich spot...

I've been meaning to try this place for a long time. Ordered the vegan sub and it had plenty of cheese and toppings, but the bread was kind of stale and not very appetizing. There are a lot of customers coming in and out so I know this place has been around a long time and has good food. I might've just had bad luck. I would give them another shot though because of the popularity there were four Riverside police officers inside eating so you know the food's gotta be good.

The staff at Sub Station are so welcoming! I was kindly greeted by Richard, the owner, and recommended "The Rich" sandwich and it was DELICIOUS! The Sub Station definitely lives up to its reputation of being the best sandwich shop in Riverside. Thank you Sub Station for being such an integral part of the UCR community!

Ok I have to say the service was good. Honestly, we didn't know this sandwich shop was here. The reason I came across to the business is by IG feeds yup and that's when I told my husband let's go check it out. So we did today Sunday Jan 26 2025. We got there around 10am or so. We walk it and we were greeted with is a plus always. Since it was our first time we mention that and the guy behind the counter right away gave us some good options about sandwiches. My husband and I agree to get " The Big Dude" 12 inch. We were very pleased. Flavor is there, fresh and tasty. The ambiance is a good welcoming and the space is good. Seating is great. Now some suggestions maybe have some upgrades in the kitchen ordering area. That will pump I think a better feeling. The seating area is clean. They have outside seating. Also they will have their Anniversary coming up in February. Wish they had soup at least around the cold season. Hope we can make it to Feb 16 for the anniversary. See pics

Delicious sandwiches. The four of us split two 12" sandwiches, one steak and cheese and one chicken pesto. Service was fast and friendly. Sandwiches come on white waxed butcher paper, which makes it easy to carry and clean up after, either at tables inside or out. Although the menu board says they offer soup, the cashier said they haven't had soup in months.

I've been a student at UCR for a while now and this was the first time ever at the Sub Station. This definitely has to be something you try before you graduate. They really know how to make a good sandwich experience. I decided to do the sub special and would recommend. You get a side, drink, and sub for $12! Great deal. I loved the meat to veggie ratio and I loved the side of banana pepper and carrots. It definitely elevated the experience. I really liked the potato salad as well. The staff were extremely kind and attentive. I also really enjoyed the touches of personality with the decor. There is really no surprise that this place has been in business for 50 years! (Side Note): My kombucha accidentally sprayed everywhere :3 little fun art splash to the sandwich
